Heart to Hands Ministry
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Heart to Hands Ministry has partnered with Sisters Hospital to provide them with knitted/crocheted baby caps and blankets for the newborns in the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit and “fidget blankets” for patients with Dementia/Alzheimer’s.
If you don’t knit or sew, we can still use your help. We need “partners” to donate items such as baby yarn and/or lightweight yarn in pastel colors. Also we will accept sewing notions; zippers, buttons, ribbons, and material that can be used to make the blankets.
Other projects that the group members may create are; Prayer Shawls or lap blankets for the ill or shut-ins, hats, gloves and scarves for the giving tree at Christmas, and baby layettes or blankets for Pro-Life ministries.
Completed items will be displayed in church and Fr. Bob will bless them before being donated.
Please join us for fun and fellowship as we share our faith in action to those in our community.
We meet the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month from 1:30 to 3:00 pm in the Parish Center.
